By Penn State fan standards, should John Wooden have coached UCLA basketball until he died?
Class act John Wooden retired in the 1970s, when he was in his 60s, after a hugely successful career at UCLA. Now Joe Pa is hanging on at Penn State in his 80s, unable to form clear, complete sentences when being interviewed, and the program has been mediocre for a long time. Regardless, Penn State fans get extremely angry when one suggests that Joe Pa be nudged out into retirement. By their logic, should Wooden have hung on until the bitter end?

Why do you think you should be deciding who does what in this world? Who the hell are you? Why does it bother you? Does it make your self respect feel good by being negative and mocking someone or something?
BTW, your logic comparing the Wooden situation to Paterno’s is badly flawed. If Wooden wanted to coach into his 80s, as long as he produced, he would have been there. The comparison isn’t valid.
